Introduction to Basic Map & Compass

Put on by the BC Wildlife Federation as part of their Women Outdoors Skills & Experience Program, this fun and interactive 4-hour workshop will help participants establish basic critical trip planning safety and navigation skills for getting outdoors! This workshop will be a Women only event and takes place at the beautiful Malcolm Knapp Research Forest in Maple Ridge, BC. It will offer a safe and supportive environment and will include some lecture and hands-on exercises to put skills into practice.
