Discover the wonders and beauty of the night sky at the RASC-Vancouver Observatory located within the Malcolm Knapp Research Forest. This event features guided observations of the Summer Constellations, dark sky views of the Milky Way, visible meteor showers, and a tour of the Observatory displaying celestial objects with a perspective into astro-imaging processes. You’ll also have the opportunity to peer through telescopes provided by RASC members to observe planets, star clusters, galaxies, and nebulae up close.
This is a family friendly event and open to anyone with an interest in astronomy.
