Wild Mushroom Field Trip

November 2 and 16, 2024

|

Maple Ridge

Let’s look for mushrooms! Hosted by Swallow Tail Culinary Adventures

This foray into Malcolm Knapp research forest will focus on how to identify wild mushrooms like porcini, chanterelle, honey, wild oysters and more. Our ever-popular “Wild Edible Identification Trips” are easy forest walking trips with an expert myco-guide through BC’s forest to identify whatever we find and they book up fast! Includes lunch.

Note: this is not a live cooking class or a harvesting trip, the class will study edible mushrooms in their habitat and discuss ethical and sustainable harvesting.
