Wild & Immersive Williams Lake Supervisor Mark

Mark Gill

Program Supervisor

Mark Gill grew up in Nova Scotia and pursued a career in education. He’s always been drawn to the freedom and boundless creativity of children when released outdoors.

“Whether we are aware or not, our childhood experiences imprint us with characteristics that follow us for the rest of our lives. When the opportunity came to join Wild and Immersive and be a part of a nature-based educational movement that aligned with my values, the outdoors were calling.”

Courtney

Program Facilitator

Born and raised in the Fraser Valley, Courtney has spent over a decade exploring creative approaches to education. She has been a home educator, Nature Kids leader, education assistant, and teacher. She currently also works as an art instructor and is thrilled to bring a sense of creativity and collaboration to this latest adventure with Wild & Immersive.

“I value play-based, holistic approaches to education. Wild & Immersive is a natural fit for child-led learning, seamlessly weaving together curiosity, exploration, and wonder. I am thrilled to be learning alongside these little teachers, in nature’s classroom.”
