Summer Camp
Explore the outdoors this summer with our fun and exciting summer camps. We believe in building a child’s confidence, communication, and curiosity through play. Featuring a unique blend of hands on learning exploration, nature inspired art, inventive play, and storytelling, our programs offer something to get excited about. This summer we are weaving a thematic element throughout our weeks that will highlight areas we’re passionate about:
Camp themes:
- Outdoor Skills (July 8-12): Our first camp highlights outdoor skills that provide a backbone to explore nature with confidence. We’ll be tackling how to build survival shelters, tying useful knots, navigating in the forest, collecting and filtering water, and foraging for edible food.
- Foraging & Wild Cooking (July 29- Aug 2): This camp is all about finding and using naturally growing food around us. We’ll be talking about how to forage sustainably, identifying edible plants, and, of course, cooking with them on our woodfire kitchen stove. Get ready to have your child prepare “weed soup”!
- Nature Arts & Crafts (Aug 19-23): Our final camp delves into the world of nature-inspired art. Nature provides us with incredible inspiration when we know how to look carefully and with intention. We’ll provide a jumping off point for projects and then let the creativity flow.

TIME: 830am – 3:30pm
COST: $285 +gst per child

This week we’ll be exploring foraged foods, using tools to navigate, and being intentional and observant in nature.

DATES: July 15-19, 2024
TIME: 8:30am – 3:30pm
COST: $285 +gst per child
Ages 8-14
Get fully immersed in the outdoors with our overnight campout! We will be spending three days/two nights camping and exploring in the Knife Creek area of the Alex Fraser Research Forest. Learn how to plan for outdoor trips and excursions and build confidence in all things camping (hiking, setting up a camp, cooking outdoors, navigating in the forest). We will be also rendezvousing with forest experts to learn about wayfinding, changing forest ecosystems, and mule deer habitats. This is a true outdoor immersive experience! Participants will be hiking their gear in and participating in all aspects of living in the outdoors and creating memories for life!

TIME: Drop off and pick up time to be determined
COST: $420 +gst per child

Partnership Camp Ages 5-12
This is our collaborative camp with CMRC! Get all excitement of Wild & Immersive with registration through the CMRC website. We believe in building a child’s confidence, communication, and curiosity through play. Featuring a unique blend of hands on learning exploration, nature inspired art, inventive play, and storytelling, our programs offer something to get excited about.
